The Rapid Response Network Coordinator (PT) must be familiar with a wide range of community resources and be able to provide information and referral services utilizing a data base of human services resources. The RRN Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing a network of local agencies, organizations, and volunteers dedicated to providing rapid response and support for refugee and asylee client care. The RRN Coordinator must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent computer skills. This role involves proactive planning, resource coordination, and communication to enhance the preparedness, response, and resilience of the communities we serve. The Coordinator will work with diverse stakeholders to foster relationships, ensure effective communication, and deploy rapid response strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills are necessary. Will also be responsible for maintaining program data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
• Assesses community needs for assistance with issues related to immigration and case management, and refers clients to appropriate internal agency, external agencies, and community resources
• Assesses and catalogue network participants for capacity, services delivered, and participant requirements
• Answers and responds to calls from external sources
• Assists in maintaining most accurate information using forms for new and existing network participants
• Maintains daily/monthly statistics of all forms of network participant contacts
• Attends agency meetings, trainings, and other related activities
• Maintains communication with external constituents
• Performs other job-related duties as needed and required by the agency
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Services, Business, Management or Health related field, required; A combination of education and experience will be accepted on a year-to-year basis
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience, strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of organization
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
• Bilingual, strongly preferred
