Cantorial Soloist or Cantor

Temple Sinai of Palm Beach County, a URJ affiliated synagogue in Delray Beach, Florida, seeks a part-time vibrant Cantor/Cantorial Soloist for our welcoming and inclusive family friendly community congregation. The Cantor/Cantorial Soloist is a collaborative partner with the Rabbi and ritual committee, creating a spiritually and culturally meaningful Jewish community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both traditional and contemporary Reform Jewish liturgy for Shabbat, Festivals and High Holy Days with the ability to be an inspiring song leader. She/he is skilled in guitar and/or keyboard accompaniment as well as organizing and directing a volunteer choir. The ideal candidate is experienced in leading Shabbat services when the Rabbi is on vacation. The ability to teach Hebrew, read Torah, audio and video production and community engagement skills are assets that can lead to additional responsibilities in our religious school and growing congregation.
