Nassau County Orthodox Synagogue in a thriving community is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities of the position are as follows but not limited to:
- Organize and maintain electronic databases and manage file system.
- Manage priority tasks and support administrative needs of the Office.
- Field all phone calls and direct to appropriate parties as needed.
- Oversee and coordinate mailings, such as gift acknowledgments, and other correspondence with the community.
- Prepare and send out daily online “eblast” updates to members.
- Report directly to Administrator.
Qualifications
- Experience working in an administrative capacity with multiple and competing deadlines and projects with quick turnaround times.
- Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Proficiency with online data management systems (MS Office, Google Drive, Shul Cloud knowledge a plus). 7. Familiarity with the basic structures and systems of synagogue life, such as a general understanding of the Jewish calendar
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Required to be on-site, hours are 9am-5pm, except Friday.

Salary Range, $45,000-$50,000 depending on experience.
