High School Jewish Studies Teacher
Location: Palo Alto, CA 94303
The Jewish Studies Department at Kehillah Jewish High School is seeking an experienced Jewish Studies teacher for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate is a dedicated educator whose expertise and passion have prepared them to teach engaging courses on Jewish History (American and European), Holocaust Studies, Israel Studies, and courses related to Jews and race. Familiarity with pre-Modern Jewish Studies and classic Jewish text is preferred. We want collaborative colleagues who appreciate a pluralistic community and are excited about approaching Jewish History through innovative pedagogical methods including experiential, project, and inquiry-based learning.

This is a Full-Time, exempt position starting August 1, 2023. Must have at least three years of high school (or above) teaching experience and be eligible to work in the U.S. All classes are taught in person on our Palo Alto campus. The salary range is between $80,000 and $101,000, based on years of teaching experience.
