Senior Associate of Missions and Special Projects
This is a full-time position that will plan and execute all aspects of group missions to Israel, various overseas locations, as well as other immersive experiences locally and nationally (i.e. Washington DC, community mini-missions, etc.). The Senior Associate of Missions and Special Projects will work in partnership with development professionals and is the primary contact between The Associated and land agent/JFNA/trip providers/guides. The Senior Associate will entail speaking about, presenting, and processing all information for mission participants in preparation, during and after all missions. The position requires interaction with top donors to the Associated.
This individual must have a high level of interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a face-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Advising, tracking, and overseeing travel arrangements
Assisting in any pre-mission program planning for participants
Articulating a vision for overseas missions together with volunteer leaders; including the flow of the itinerary as well as the structure and theme of each day
Working with colleagues across a variety of departments to develop ideas on how missions can achieve maximum impact on fundraising goals
Working with lead professional on recruitment, marketing materials and mission itineraries in conjunction with the land agents
Occasional international travel will be required

You enjoy travel and developing opportunities for people to experience for themselves the work we do in Israel and other countries. You are receptive to and accepting of guidance from others and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Skills/Requirements
Minimum of two years’ experience in program planning or the corporate travel industry
Bachelor’s Degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Office
Managing travel experiences a plus
Good command of the English language, oral, and written
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Able to maintain confidentially
Hebrew speaker is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range is $57,575-$61,850 and is commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experience.
