The Efrat Organization has been helping women who are faced with making a decision regarding the termination of their pregnancy due to financial stress. This support effort has been available for over four decades in Israel. Efrat is an apolitical organization that focuses on providing bias free information, as well as emotional and financial support, to those women who decide to maintain their pregnancy and, ultimately, raise their children.
In Israel, Efrat has assisted close to 81,000 women and is currently expanding their services to North America. As a result of the numerous requests for guidance and assistance to women outside of Israel, Efrat has made a strategic decision to establish a full-service office in the U.S.
Therefore, we are currently, seeking to hire a competent administrator for our U.S.Assistance Department, whose aim will be to build a professional American program using the many available resources from the dedicated, expert staff in Israel.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning, organizing and properly directing the organization's assistance program.
• Develop and implement an education program to inform women in the U.S.of the resources available to them.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and operational reporting/metrics associated with the different assistance programs.
• Recruit, train and manage highly qualified staff and volunteers by providing career coaching, growth and personal development for workers and volunteers.
• Develop relationships with social services in the various communities in order to create a broad awareness of the services provided by Efrat.
• Establish working relationships with social service providers in the various communities in which Efrat will operate.
Work Hours and Benefits:
This position is full time and includes flexible hour/location structure. The position will permit both “ Efrat office” and “home office” employment. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• LCSW, MS or PhD in mental health discipline.
• 10 or more years of experience either as a mental health or social welfare employee in an operational environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
