Job Summary

A historic Jewish congregation in Baltimore Maryland is looking for a strong marketing and communications professional to enhance and foster communications, social media, website and increase community awareness.

Applicants should have the following qualifications:
• Strong writing and editing skills
• A deep understanding of social media strategy to leverage our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages
• Familiarity with the greater Baltimore Jewish community
• Media relations skills: pitching news/human interest stories, placing paid advertising in digital/print media properties
• A strong understanding of the role that a website plays in the organization's communications strategy, in order to direct the continued improvement of the website
• An ability to implement ongoing marketing and communications campaigns centered around membership, fundraising, and congregational engagement

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)

Other Experience:
• Minimum 5 years experience producing quality written materials
• Public Relations Occupations: 2 years (Preferred)
• Several years experience in a marketing/communications role (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
