Location: DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia areas preferred. Available to work during 9-5pm East Coast time. Our team mostly works from home. Staff will be expected to attend some in-person meetings and events.

Salary: $37,500 - $43,000, commensurate with experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Communications + Operations Coordinator to join our staff team and provide logistics and operations support to the team. This role will support scheduling and logistics, data and reporting, and serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and members of the community, and oversees special projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency using Zoom and working with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and calendar software, and a background in, or the ability to learn quickly, other relevant technologies such as Asana and a customer relations management system (Salesforce).
Available to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities Include:
Help to manage the Executive Director’s scheduling, coordinate meetings with Den community members and external stakeholders; provide relevant prep materials and appropriate follow-up.
Assist in the management of Salesforce data. Specific responsibilities will include pulling reports and gathering/processing data.
Collaborate with the team to schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual Den gatherings and classes, including inputting relevant information on the website and in the zoom account.
Support development efforts including the preparation of donor acknowledgments and reports, as well as scheduling meetings with donors and community leaders.
Coordinate logistics for Board of Directors and Advisory Council meetings (3-4 times per year). Specific responsibilities include organizing and distributing agendas, master calendaring, and preparing meeting minutes.
Write, proofread and/or edit correspondence as applicable.
Work on special projects for the Executive Director as assigned.
