WTA is looking to hire an experienced faculty member who is a self-starter, well-organized and a team player. The candidate should have a warm demeanor, excellent command of progressive pedagogies, understanding and experience in project based learning with the strength of building the students’ skills as independent learners.

Position: Middle School Math Teacher - Full Time

• Experience teaching middle school math curriculum
• Capable of learning and navigating online educational platform
• Plan lessons in coordination with educational platform
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual needs
• Create curriculum for more advanced students that will meet their pace of study and academic development
• Conduct formal and informal evaluations
• Communication with parents
• Work closely with direct supervisor to review student progress
• Collect and analyze student work, assessments and data to plan and support student needs
• Comfortable with individualized and small-group instruction
• Mentor students
• Foster confidence and meaningful engagement with the subject
