Preschool Teacher

Bet Ha-Yeladim Preschool is seeking for a full-time preschool teacher with a minimum of 12 ECE units including infant/toddler course.

Candidate should exhibit strong work ethics, love for young children, flexibility, and strong inter/intrapersonal relationship with co-workers, administration, and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily implementation of indoor-outdoor curriculum

• Strong organizational and managerial skills

• Ability to observe and assess children’s developmental milestones

• Ongoing daily communication with co-workers and parents.

Our preschool is an extension of Congregation B’nai Brith located in Santa Barbara. It promotes Jewish culture and its traditions and is a play based with emphasis on Social Emotional Scaffolding of children ages 18 months to 5 years old.

Candidates are not required to be Jewish.

We are a licensed and year-round preschool.

Full time candidates (30 hours or more per week) will receive paid vacation, sick leave, and health benefits.

Hourly rates are competitive and will be based on years of experience.
